Barnet School Street

Barnet School Streets make our streets safer spaces for you to walk and cycle, for children to get to and from school and the promote a healthier lifestyle. They are also good for businesses and the environment. A priority place for making our streets safer and cleaner is the roads around our schools.

Childs Hill is delighted to announce that Barnet School Street has come into force on Dersingham Road and Caddington Road. The new enforcment came into fruition in 2025. This means vehicles are exempt of driving down Dersingham Road & Caddington Road between 8.15am-9.15am EVERY morning and 3.00pm-4.00pm EVERY afternoon. Failure to adhere to the exemption will result in a Penalty Charge Notice from Barnet.
