Uniform
We have high expectations of our pupils and this includes uniform and appearance. We strongly believe that school uniform is important, it promotes a strong, cohesive school identity, which supports high standards and expectations in all areas of school life.
Why is school uniform so important?
- Uniforms unite the school. Pupils make a commitment that when they put on their school uniform they will abide by the school rules.
- Uniforms reduce distractions, allowing pupils to focus on learning and achieving success.
- Uniforms make us all equal. Whether families have high incomes or low incomes, all pupils come to school wearing the same uniform.
- Uniforms look professional. Pupils look smart and ready to learn.

Mapac Schoolwear All children at Childs Hill, children are expected to wear full school uniform and have adequate PE kit to take part in outdoor PE lessons throughout the year. Please ensure that all items of uniform are labelled with your child's full name.

Children arriving at school not wearing correct uniform will receive a phone call home and the parent or carer will be requested to drop off the correct uniform.
Second hand uniform can be brought from the school at a discounted price. Please speak to the school office for more information.
