The law is changing

Data Protection law in the UK is changing on 25 May 2018 and it effects everyone parents, children, staff and volunteers.  The new law is called the General Data Protection Regulation 'GDPR' and is about protecting  people in the modern information age. The new law is to make sure that sensitive or personal information about  yourselves and your children stays safe and that data is used appropriately. Whilst it is similar to the current Data Protection Act in many ways, there are a few differences, so we need to make a few changes at the school in order to ensure we remain compliant. We have updated privacy notice.

We invite parents to a information meeting on Monday 21 May you can view the presentation here.

We have sent home new parental permission form.  Please return this as soon as possible so that we can comply with the new law.  Childs Hill School take our duties and responsibilities about personal data seriously.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
