Feedback

Our annual Parent Survey, once again conducted via Survey Monkey, was completed by 97 parents. The information provided tells us that  between them they are the parents of 136 pupils at CHS.

The feedback is extremely positive and very encouraging. We pride ourselves on our inclusive, caring and welcoming ethos and it appears that our families would agree that this is a real strength of our school. It is also important that all members of our school community have voice and, based on the    results shown below, we feel confident that we do listen and treat every one’s opinions with respect.

Of course there is room for improvement and are always looking for ways to do better. The results    indicate that not everyone is satisfied with aspects of our communication. We would like to improve on only 35% of parents strongly agreeing that we provide quality information on children’s progress. This is important to us, especially now when there has been so much change to the curriculum and assessments. I know that all of the families I spoke to at Parents Evenings in April were very happy with this years report format but that there have been questions regarding updates throughout the year. As we get used to the children working towards achieving age related expectations by the end of the school year we are looking for the best way of communicating ‘on-going’ progress.
